jp_maximum - nothing's working, why?

Hi,
I'm trying to work with maximum template but nothing seems to work...
For instance:
in the layout section of template I set up position top-B as "stacked" but when I publish a second module in this position it is not stacked, it's still parallel. (this is current state on the page)
So I put the module in the position top-c - it's ok but when I go to template settings end set it up tu "full width" and section padding i.e 2% 2% 2% 2% - it's not working at all, the module is still in boxed mode and padding settings are not working?
I mean what gives?
Where is te problem? First time I have this kind of problems with a template... Please help because id drives me crazy!

please check the layout settings.
Maybe a layout is assinged to a menu item
