I have a module MyModule of position top-a assigned to a specific menu item and below in the same menue item other modules of other positions e.g. top-b. MyModule shows up left aligned. Is it possible to set an individual module to show up centered?

Yes, each module can have an individual setup.
Template Options > Module > Class = uk-text-center
