[SOLVED] Linked articles appear on home/frontpage

Dear Support,

when opening an article either from the main menu or via the read more link in the roksprocket slider, the article then opens in the home/frontpage, I want the article to open in its own page. I tried the trick with the hidden menu, but its not working, I might be doing something wrong or overlooking something. When I add a completely new article with a unique category name and access this via a main menu item, then it works, not sure what I am doing wrong. Please advice.

Please makes sure that not each module is published/assigned to all menu items.
But its a Joomla question and not template related, therefore its better to ask Joomla forum.
