The social icons work in the Quickstart version, but if I install only the template they don't work.
Do you need a plugin or something else?

Yes, the work without the quickstart.

You have to install the astroid-framework-plugin.

Then you can activate the social icons. Use a modulposition:

Then choose your icons:
