Error message after installing hope-v1.3.16.zip

My former Artisteer template I used for my website with Joomla 3 was not suitable for Joomla 4 and 5. So I decided to find an easy not complicated Joomla 5 template to install for my website. I was hoping that the template Hope was a good decision. I looked in your Documentation file and followed only to steps.
First I installed succesfully the file astroid-framework-master.zip and then the hope-v1.3.16.zip file. But that file was not accepted.
I got two messages.
1. JInstaller: : Install: Can not find the XML settings file. See attachment
2. Cannot find manifest file. See the same attachment
After these two errors, I have no idea what to do. 
Would you be so kind to help me to solve this issue?

In the attachments you also find screenshots of my former website. So you have an idea what kind of template I have used for my website based on Joola 3.

You have to unpack the zip file first.
Use the documentation:

So far, I have successfully installed my Hope template activated and updated it to 3.1.17.
The next step was to upload the quickstart.zip, but I got the warning that this package was used to install a whole new Joomla version and I have already one.

I find it uneasy when the installation of a template causes problems and no solutions.

What I need is a template in which I can make a header and can place the horizontal menu items.
I had a simple template with no many features for my genealogical investigation.
All the content for my website is already present. 
See the attachments for the Start (Home) page and the content of one menu item in my former template.

You cannot install a quickstart into an existing Joomla installation because the quickstart is a complete Joomla including framework, template and example files.
If you only have the template installed, you also need to install the astroid framework.
