Hi,
I bought the template Easy and am very happy with it - thank you very much for making this nice template!
In order to build my new site and still have the old one online during this time, I built the new one on a local server. I didn't thought this would become an issue, but I installed Joomla4, selected php8.0.12 and MySQL8.0.27 on the local server and then built my new website with them. But today (and after having spent intensive work on my new website) I tried to transfer it onto my online server (infomaniak), however the website isn't working there (Error 500; I don't have the link, because I put the old website online again). According to the support of my provider, it is because their server uses MariaDB10.4 (without possibility to change) and my website uses MySQL8.0.27.
Now, I'm not sure what I shoud do. Are the template Easy and the plugins used with it compatible with MariaDB10.4? It there a way to convert my current MySQL database into MariaDB without having to build the whole website again?
I tried to read the recommandations there
mariadb.com/kb/en/upgrading-from-mysql-to-mariadb/
but didn't understand them.
In case it would be "easier" to build the website again (i.e. new joomla installation, new MariaDB database, re-installing the Easy template, importing the customization of the Easy template I did previously, re-creating in joomla all the menus, articles, modules, associations I had done.....), this would still be a lot of work.
Maybe someone had a similar issue or has a recommendation of what would be the best to do?
Thank you very much,
Julie
