Modules showing on articles pages - how to disable was created by lukasz.w80

Hi.
I'am using joomla 3.3 and gave a problem with modules.
I create a new module, and I want it to by displayed only on main page. So in module configuration I check the option "show only on selected pages" and select main page. But the module still shows not only on the main page but also on any other page.

Why? What to do to make it work?
It's the first time I have this kind of problem.

By searching the forum I found one similar problem in commercial template but was not solved.

Thank you.

Seem to be a strange thing!
But what do you mean when you say "the module shows on other page"?

Attention:
If your module is assigned to the "home" menu item and then you click any article from "home" menu item, the module will be shown.

Here is another solution to assign the modules to article or menu item or anything else.
Take a look at this very good extension, which should be add to the Joomla core.
