I have elected not to have articles on the homepage but i had to choose some type for home.. so i chose featured and do not have any.. but i want to remove that space on the homepage where the content would go.. aikenculturalcenter.org/online/ thanks

If you dont want to show the Joomla System output only on "home" menu item, you have to create a new layout:

Goto Template Options > Layouts > Add new layout "no-content"


Select the new layout "no-content" and select Hide System Output


Assign the new layout to your prefered menu item "home"
