Can I add Tahoma font to the list of fonts I can use? if so how do I do this?

Tahoma is not an open source font, you will get copyright problems if you want to use it on the web.
You can add the the tahoma to the css but it if the users has no Tahoma installed, the font will not show.

what about Trebuchet MS?

And, if none of these are possible.. which one in the template font list is the closest to one of these?

I would take the websafe font "Verdana" and it is similar to Tahoma, see image attached.
