[SOLVED] Why can i not see all the modules
Hi,
Sorry i am new to Joomla however very fluent in HTML and CSS. I am really struggling with configuring this template. I am unsure if it has installed correctly. I was under the impression that looking at the pictures and the live tour parts of the template, when you install the files everything is in place and you just need to modify it with your details. I am guessing this is not the case. Am i correct in saying its more "this is what you can do"?
So after the install i would of presumed that all the module names would be within the module manager, however they do not seem to be there. Do i need to add them manually referencing the "Module positions" from demo.joomlaplates.com/jp_work/docs/ ? Another twist would be that within the "templatedetails.xml" there are only a few referenced. Does this mean i will have to add into here also?
I am thinking this should not be the case as users like me have paid for the template and this seems more like a developers thing to be doing. I can go ahead and do this as it all makes sense but seems a little strange i would have to considering i have paid for all of this to be done.
I am not convinced this download is correct. Any help would be truly grateful.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi there,
you must have published modules in the right module position to see and manage the modules in the module manager.
demo.joomlaplates.com/jp_work/theme-feat...odule-positions.html
We always recommend installing our democontent first to trial and understand the template more efficiently.
If you want to have the same look and feel like our demo server, you have to install the demo content.
Therefore please read the demo content instruction.
If youre not able to install the demo content or have no experience you can pay for professional
installation too.

And you dont have to be a developer, but you need some experiences in Joomla, because Joomla is not an easy webpage builder.
Joomla is a complex content management system.

Please never touch the org xml/php/css files if you dont know what are you doing there!

Hi,
Thank you. I did not realise that was the name for the content. I have successfully installed the quick start on my local machine.
Thank you for your assistance.
Thanks,
Steve
