i've added the login module to the menu position but the login module has the following message

If you ever come across the error message “Module XML data not available”, make sure you have xml file inside your module folder in the name “mod_YOURMODULENAME.xml”.
If not, upload the "mod_login" folder of the org joomla packgae to your Joomla installation directory.

i've checked the mod_login folder, there is a tmpl sub-folder, the mod_login.xml file is within that, along with 2 php files .
Do i need to move it up a level?
