[SOLVED] Errors & non-function template install
After being told to install the jp-Work template in topic, HOW TO INSTALL JP WORK TO UPDATE JP DREAMCARS SITE, from yesterday, I ran into the following trouble and wonder what the problem and solution is:
1. System response after attempting to upload jp-work.zip via the Extensions Installer:
Warning: JLIB_FILESYSTEM_ERROR_WARNFS_ERR03
Error: There was an error uploading this file to the server.
2. After uploading extracted jp-work template folder from site’s tmp/jp-work folder:
Message: Installation of the template was successful.
So it seems to install properly, but then:
In list of templates under Style:
JLIB_INSTALLER_DEFAULT_STYLE
When clicking on the installed templates Options/Styles/Customizer button:
Error: Unable to retrieve …/templates/jp-work/less/customizer.json (Forbidden)
So I have no customization features.
Thank you for looking into this for me.

Hi there,
I think the installation was blocked by "admin tools" from Akeeba:
www.akeebabackup.com/support/akeeba-back...e-to-admintools.html
And please make sure that your hosting company support the min requirements
Requirements
- PHP 5.3+
- PHP Multibyte String support
- PHP JSON support
- PHP DOM XML support

I started disabling anything labeled Akeeba in the Extensions Manager. Joomla would still not install jp-Work's package ZIP file. I received the same error message as before. Then I found that the same errors occurred with two other templates from other companies. Finally, when I disabled System - AdminTools, jp-Work did install properly. And it gave jp-Work its proper name in the template list.
However, when I clicked on the jp-Work template to access it's Options/Styles/Custom Button it still displays: Error: Unable to retrieve …/templates/jp-work/less/customizer.json (Forbidden). So I still have no customization features.
What are your thoughts on this remaining problem? And thank you for everything you are doing to help me.

Thats the same issue > Akeeba blocks the json file
Here is a troubleshooting guide
yootheme.com/support/question/75099
The Warp 7 Customizer is not loading because of the extension Admin Tools.
Admin tools must be configured to allow access to the template.
1.) In Admin Tools, select the .htaccess Maker icon
2.) Scroll down to the Exceptions section. Make sure your template is listed in the “Allow direct access, including .php files, to these directories” Section.
