I configured the "Home header bar Slideshow" like you described it in the documentation. I use exactly the same image size like you have in the demo files (slideshow1.jpg).
Although I have a black space at the left side, if I use Firefox to test the site.
I appreciate your help.

1.) User manager > Your profile > Advanced > Editor = NONE
2.) Open the logo module and delete the "p" tag from the image. It must look like this:

thank you very much, it was the height tag, that solved the problem. I'm impressed of the great support.
