And another question: Captions for the the article-pictures are also not shown. Is this both due to the template?

in the demo packages the plugin "Page Navigation" is disabled. You can enable the plugin in "Extensions > Plugin Manager".
Then you will get the prev and next links in your articles.


Please enable the caption for the image.
