[SOLVED] Sub Menu indicator

Hello,
On your 'medical' joomla theme, in the main menu I have an item '2015 symposia' with a sub menu. When viewing the menu on the homepage the indicator does not appear (see image attached).
When you click on the '2015 symposia' menu and enter the page, the sub menu indicator appears (see 2nd image attached)
Any ideas on how to make it appear on home page as well?

did you set the parameter in the menu module "always show submenu = yes"
