[SOLVED] Template: fire - No style customizer available

Template: fire
Joomla: 3.9.14
DB: MySQL
I want to use the fire template on our existing (!) fire fighters web-site. Therefore the use of the quickstart, which include a full joomla installation is no option as I would loose all our existing data, articles etc.
So I installed the template only on my production web-site, and the demo package on my local computer to have a playground and reference.
My local system with the demo package is up and running, and the installation of the fire template on the production site also went without any error.
Now I wanted to apply and carry over some of my style customizations from my local system to the production system (manually configured), but the customizer option gives me an error on the production system and does not open.
Error; Retrieving styles data failed!
So it seems that the template did not ship or install the default and orange styles of the template.
Is this assumption correct? So how can I fix this on the production system?
Please help. Thanks

So it seems that on my production web site, the folder style exists below the jb_fire folder within the templates folder of Joomla. So when the style folder obviously is there, why the customizer is not loaded to allow editing it?

The template must be set to default, otherwise you cant use the customizer, because the real time preview isnt working

Hi,
thanks for the reply.
I do not understand what you mean by "set to default". I tried to make the style my "default" for all pages of my site, but that did not help, as the customizer still fails to open.
Please explain a bit more, what you want me to try.
Thanks.
Regards,
Michael

Your new template is installed now but inactive. To activate it click on "Extensions -> Template Manager". A list of all installed templates appears. Select your new template and hit the "default" button in the upper right corner. Your template is now installed and active and you can start to set it up by following the next steps in this document.

Hi,
please see my screenshot - I made it Default there, but customizer is not showing up.
Is this the wrong spot?

Michael
