[SOLVED] Google Analytics tag

Good day,

I have been trying to activate Google Analytics and pasted the tag in the relevant custom code section of the Astroid interface. The website fails to connect. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, could you please let me know how to solve it?

The code is entered in the <head> area.
Alternatively, plugins can also be used:
extensions.joomla.org/instant-search/?je...D=Google%20Analytics

Thank you Dirk. I had it in the Tracking Code box but will try the Head option, otherwise the plugin.
