Hi
can I set the #footer-a in bike template to 100% somewhere as I'd like this position to have a map full width...

Hi there,
the footer-a module has the template width and not 100% of the screen. Therefore its not possible!

Another idea:
1.) Insert your footer module to bottom-c
2.) Insert the full width module ( map) to bottom-d
