Products licensing info

With effect from 1 April 2010, All of our Joomla products (Templates, Modules, Components, Plugins) are released under the GNU/GPLv2 GPL version 2.0 license. However, only the PHP code portions of these products are released under the GPL version 2.0 license. All images, cascading style sheets, and included JavaScript are NOT GPL (unless specified), and are released under the Proprietary License, unless specifically authorized by us. Elements (images / CSS / JS etc) of the products released under this proprietary license can not be redistributed or repackaged for use other than those allowed by the Terms of Use of the subscription.

Proprietary license

Proprietary Use License controls non-PHP code elements, such as images, cascading style sheets and JavaScript elements in the released our Products (Templates , modules, components, plugins etc.). These elements of product are not compiled together but are sent independently of GPL code and combined in a client's browser, so, do not have to be GPL themselves. These files are not released under the GPL, and are supplied to each paying user for non-exclusive usage per Terms of Use per membership privileges in line of number of registered domains & customization allowance.

In other words, These files are not released under the GPL, and are supplied to each paying user for personal use only. You may not offer them, modified or unmodified, for redistribution or resale of any kind or include them in a package or extension of your own without prior consent of Joomaplates.com.

Membership

During the membership you have access to all themes, monthly new releases, support and regular updates.

You do not need to have an active membership to use the template furthermore. That means you can use the template for life-time. But you can´t access new templates or updates for current templates if your membership was cancelled. We do not place any limits to the number of domains. You are entitled to use our products on any domain you wish and you can use the templates after my membership expires.

Demo Content Images

All Images from Demo Content are purchased by Joomlaplates and licensed to JoomlaPlates.com. Images are include the Quickstart package, but not allowed to re-use them. Our demo content and slideshow pictures are only for demonstration use. Re-use of any graphics, icons or photos from the demo content for any purpose is strictly prohibited.

Modifications

You are allowed to make any changes and modifications in the themes or products to adapt them to your needs. It is not permitted to change or remove the copyright information in the source code. This includes the XML descriptor file and all PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS files distributed with our products. Of course, any visual copyrights, for example the copyrights in the theme footer, can be removed.

Can I use the Template for Commercial Projects?

Yes, there is no limitation for commercial projects. You can use the template for your clients or for your own private and commercial projects.

Template Usage & Updates

Your purchased Joomla Template can be used for "life-time", but the Template download is limited to 365 days ( 1 year). That means: Template updates are available free of charge for a period of 12 months after purchase. After this period has ended you have to purchase the theme again.

Demo Content Images

All Images from Demo Content are purchased by Joomlaplates and licensed to JoomlaPlates.com and they are not include the Theme package. Our demo content and slideshow pictures are only for demonstration use. Re-use of any graphics, icons or photos from the demo content for any purpose is strictly prohibited. .

Unauthorized use

You may not, duplicate on CD or diskette or website as a method of reproduction in any kind. If you are interested in reproducing or modifying our templates, please contact us for written consent. All template XML copyright data must remain as is when purchased, you agree not to edit this information in any way. All of our templates are subject to copyright and intellectual property laws, you may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any of our products, modified or unmodified.

What is your refund policy?

All our products are digital goods, that is to say they are non-tangible goods, once they have been received, we have no control of duplications being made of the product. It is for this reason, we do not issue refunds on any of our products. If you are having trouble with your product, please make sure that you've carefully read all relevant documentation and tried out our demo.
