When I hover my mouse over a main menu heading, it disppaears off the menu. I have to refresh the screen to get the titles up again. Any ideas?

Without appearing to sound stupid. Where do I place/create the custom.css file. In template customise? or in a /styles/STYLE-NAME/css folder.
