I would have thought so, yes. Unfortunately, like I said... unexpected result (see screenshot).

My objective is this:
1. I either need to make the menu that comes with the template do more (allow individual link styling and load modules in drop down), or
2. be able to use 'menu' position for another menu system.

So far, I've had zero success on both fronts. This is a very tight deadline project... I really appreciate any and all help.

Thanks,
Gina G.

Hi there,
it should work, I have test it:
Here is the css class:

.uk-navbar-nav > li.uk-parent > a.green {

}

Hi there,
I appreciate your help but, everything you are suggesting 'should work', does not. I had already tried that before posting here.
Let's forget about the link class for now and concentrate on using the 'menu' position for another menu. I have taken all custom settings out of the Main Menu (under Template Options) and unpublished the module. In its place, I published DJMenu (in position 'menu'). This is the result (screenshot).
Clearly, even though the module is unpublished, the initial styling of the original menu is still there. THAT I need help with, please.

If you need admin access to see for yourself, please let me know.
Thank you,
Gina G.

Hi there,
sorry we can not help you with a custom module you have installed, because I dont know this module.

Publish the main menu, give me admin access and I will try to setup different menu item colors!
Please take in your mind: Customizing is not a regular support
