[SOLVED] Galeria isn't installing in the right way
I bought the Galeria template and just followed the description to install it. I have hosting space at Strato.nl (.de)
I distracted the zip file and copied the content to my hosting space in a seperate directory. At my provider I created a database.
After that I called my website (rugbyinbeeld.nl) and started the installation proces. Everything goes well and everything is green.
When I'm ready it says, it has installed a blog, but the galeria template hasn't been installed. So I do a manually installation of the galeria template zip file.
After that, I did the installation of the "blog demo content" because there isn't any other demo content.
When I log in at my website I only see a blog login (I even made the Galeria template the default). and nothing else.
Can anyone help me? Am I doing something wrong?

Hello Christian,
I didn't see that option during the installation proces. Only after the installation the possibility to install the blog demo content.
Where should I see that option?

Hi,
im working with joomla!
Please look at the linked joomlaplates Readme: www.joomlaplates.com/support/documentation/install-demo-content
There you find a hint to this option.
Sorry, when you have forgotten to activate this option (see readme above) then you have to install your template again.

Hello Christian,
I'm now copying the extracted files to my webspace again to do a clean install.
One question, I assume when i"m copying all the quickstart files to my webspace that's allright?
Or do I also have to extract the separate jp-galeria.zip file and copy those files also to the webspace? And if so, to what location?
Thanks for your help so far!

as I remember the rough installation steps are:
as I remember the rough installation steps are:
- Create the database
- upload your quickstart.zip on your webspace
- Then if your hoster allows it, decompress the file
- an then run the install.php (don't forget the option for installing the demo-content !!!)
